Students Performing Functional Lifts - Performance Training Academy

On every Personal Trainer course we ensure that students start to learn the importance of compound and functional lifts such as Squats, Deadlifts, Cleans and more.

Some students come onto our courses having done these lifts before, others have not. Either way, by the end of every course we ensure that all students have a great understanding of them and how to teach them to others.

You will also see in this video a good use of tempo to ensure overload of the eccentric phase of a lift, and also a pause before the concentric phase to work on developing speed and power.
